NexPoint Store Audit

FAQ

Store audit questions

What we check, what we can access and what the score means.

What does the free store audit check?

It reads your public website and checks your secure connection, broken links, server errors, redirects, sitemap, robots.txt, page titles, descriptions, headings, Google and Meta tracking tags, and product data.

Do I need to give you a login for the free audit?

No. The free audit only reads public pages, so you enter your website address and nothing else.

Does it work with WooCommerce and Shopify?

The free website audit works on most public websites, including WooCommerce and Shopify stores. Connecting your store for product and variation checks is available for WooCommerce today.

Can connecting my store change anything?

No. You approve read-only access on your own WooCommerce store, and the app rejects any key that can write. We request products and variations only, not orders or customers, and you can disconnect at any time. WooCommerce read keys can technically read orders too, so you can also remove the key from your store settings.

What does the paid plan add?

Starter is $29 per month for one store. It reads your published products and variations to find prices far below the rest of a product, $0 or missing prices, missing images, thin descriptions and many out-of-stock products, and it saves your scan history.

Does a high score mean I will rank well on Google?

No. The score is our own guide to what needs attention, and it is not a Google ranking factor. It helps you find and fix problems, but it cannot promise rankings or sales.

How many pages does a scan visit?

A scan visits a sample of your pages, up to 45 requests, two at a time so it stays gentle on your site. It can miss problems on pages outside the sample.
